After a few days away from the club, Caicedo has seemingly moved on from Arsenal's interest and turned his attention back to matters on the pitch. That would give Brighton the confidence Ferguson would do the same if Tottenham came knocking.

Ferguson joined Brighton from Irish side Bohemians in 2021. He has already scored three goals in the Premier League despite making just five starts under Roberto De Zerbi.

He made his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland last November. The forward scored his first goal for his country in a friendly win over Latvia last week.
