According to a recent report from The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur will hold fresh talks with Antonio Conte later this week.
The conversations will revolve around the future of his long-term contract. The Italian currently has an 18-month deal to his name which will expire at the end of the current season. The belief is that talks between the parties involved began before the start of the World Cup and will continue on through the rest of this week, beginning on Monday.
While Spurs haven’t exactly become world beaters overnight, the presence of Conte at the club definitely seems to have inspired a change in their approach – and their success. The aim, obviously, will be to win trophies, as is so often the case with a club like Tottenham.
The North London side are getting ready for the Premier League to resume, which will take place in the next few weeks after the conclusion of the World Cup.
